anyway i managed to slim down his body a bit! yay me. his chest being wider than the grand canyon was killing me. at least now he can pose with his arms up without turning into a dorito.

i was just dicking around because i didn't want to seriously slip into another modding hyperfixation considering my last project is already taking up a lot of time and i barely have any left to spare, but cp2077 is ridiculously easy to mod in comparison to anything on todd's nefarious creation engine and i can't stop poking around in the game's files and following tutorials to get a bit of a flow and familiarity going. anyway 🤡

meddling around with the base masc body is doing me way more favors than trying to get the flat chest stuff working does. kudos to everyone involved in those mods but the dysphoria i get while working with its files is through the ROOF and i can't get to changing the next part before it overwhelms me. (although his height would probably be more accurate if he was on the other base body)

next weekend i think i'll poke around his textures a bit and also fire up blender to get his chest fixed. a while ago i started painting him in preparation for veilguard (which i unfortunately didn't end up liking as much as i hoped i would), but i'll use it as a reference for what i'm trying to achieve.

(here he is in elder scrolls btw, CAN I HEAR A HELL YEAH FOR THE BOSMER (unfortunately i couldn't paint him the way i wanted back then so he's a bit healthier looking than i'd like him to))

also yeah he's all over the place, he started out in fallout and vtm and then followed me along any other game or ttrpg i picked up.

i swear my experience with figuring out how to mod cp2077 so far is trying something new for half a day, succeeding, and then going "i can't believe that fucking worked on the first try and what do you mean it's not buggy as all shit straight away???"

whereas modding todd's games needs at least two goat sacrifices for it to remotely work out the way i want it to and then i'll spend half a week bug hunting and i better don't miss one coz it's gonna break something else in the future and there's no easy way of patching it when it does

So where we're at is that technically speaking, everything is set-up, but the unplayable lag is back lmao.

I swear I'd briefly fixed it and then I reloaded to test and it was back again. It might be story progression being finally turned on, but it's happening even when I've turned it off so I doubt it. It might be the population size, but even testing the family in a save with no other sims but the 40 something of them it was still happening. Maybe it's the family tree, I don't know. I'll have to go back to the old test save to see if it's happening there and then try taking out some things again.

On one hand I know I have more CC than I did back in the day (and I'll probably once again trim that), on the other, still boggled it's somehow running worse now than it did then.

A last message from the mod.

Greetings, fellow Tumblrs.

As explained in my last two ones, I'm unfortunately no longer in a phase of my life in which I can afford to spend 3 or 4 hours per day queuing 30 to 40 posts. Even taking breaks on Sundays didn't work, and the blog continued to eat too much of my time. While All The Brazilian Politics did provide me with validation and sense of doing something important, it barely brought any material return, which is kind of crucial in a capitalist society.

I tried to come up with ideas to make it at least a little bit sustainable. I opened up a Ko-Fi, but donations, precious as they were, were few and far between. I suggested a book club, but only one person showed interest in participating. I suggested creating a subscription-based service with the content, but no one took interest.

No proposal of monetization seemed to catch on, and the labour and time it takes to keep this blog is simply not reasonable for what comes down to be, at the end of things, a mere hobby. And that's just not an option for me anymore.

Because of this and the increasing amount of responsibilities I've been taking up in my personal and professional life, I am here to make this sad and painful announcement:

I am deactivating All The Brazilian Politics.

The blog won't be deleted, neither here nor on Twitter and clones. I think I've built a valuable archive, and I don't want to shut down the possibility of coming back to blogging in the future should my context change.

But I think part of growth is leaving behind and letting go of things that no longer fit into your life, however valuable and meaningful they've been. I shall move on to other endeavours and try to contribute to our society in other ways.

I count on y'all's comprehension, and thank deeply, from the bottom of my heart, all the support and interactions I've received throughout the years. You've been a great source of constant positive reinforcement and dopamine.

It's been a great ride. I wish all of you the absolute best.

Tamlin Week 2025 Statistics

This was such a hit last year, and we had a seriously amazing Tamlin Week, so here are the Tamlin Week 2025 Statistics by mod Reyna!

First of all, this blog broke 500 followers during Tamlin Week! We officially have over 500 Tamlin stans! Our instagram account, @the.calanmai, broke 100 subscribers. Thank you all for the support, Tamlin Week literally could not exist without you!

In all, there were 269 submissions for Tamlin Week from a total of 78 participants. This was a 46.2% increase and a 62.5% increase, respectively, from 2024. Let's start breaking down some of those submissions!

Submissions Per Day

Day 7 had the most submissions, with 19% of the total (51 submissions), followed very closely by Day 2, with 50 submissions. Day 6 had the fewest submissions, with 9% of the total (24 submissions). The average number of submissions each day was 38 submissions.

Number of Submissions per Prompt

This year, we endeavoured to make the prompts for each day a little easier to use together, and people really took advantage of that! There is a huge spread across the board, with people utilizing the prompts on their own, as well as combining the day's prompts. Aside from the Free Day, the prompt with the most submissions was Dark Spring (29 submissions). The combination with the most submissions was Forgiveness/Change (24 submissions). The prompt on it's own with the fewest submissions was Chest (5 submissions), although most people seemed to enjoy combining it with the other prompt for the day, Biting.

Types of Fanworks Created

A majority of the submissions were fanfiction, which made up 43% of the total (115 submissions). The second most popular submission was fanart, with 36% of the total (98 submissions). Our miscellaneous category is 10% of the total (26 submissions), which is really cool! Quite a few people thought outside the box to make amazing submissions for Tamlin Week! This category includes playlists, videos, memes, and others! "Combinations" refers to submissions that combined a few of these types into a single submission.

Tamlin Ships Represented

Something that I have always appreciated about Tamlin fandom is how much content revolves around him as a character, and that is absolutely reflected in the breakdown of Tamlin ships that people made creations for. General Tamlin works absolutely dominated, making up 55% of the works submitted (149 submissions). Tamlin/Lucien and Tamlin/Rhysand are the most popular Tamlin ships submitted, with 11% (30 submissions) and 10% (28 submissions) of the total, respectively. There was a pretty even split among the other ships, and any ship with fewer than 1% of the submissions was combined in the "Other Ships" section. The diversity of Tamlin ships is really amazing, and pretty unique in Tamlin fandom!

2024 vs. 2025 Submissions

I thought it would be interesting to compare Tamlin Week 2024 to 2025, and boy was I correct! Because there were so many more submissions this year that last year, to properly compare each category I calculated the percentage of the total for the year that each category represents, rather than using the total number of submissions in each category.

Number of Submissions per Day: 2024 vs. 2025

There isn't a whole lot to be gleaned here, since the prompts between years were different, so interest in submitting on each day is going to be different. There's still some fun stuff! There was a noticeable difference in the number of submissions on Day 2 between 2024 and 2025, with an 18% increase in submissions. In 2024 the Day 2 prompts were Poet/Warrior, and in 2025 they were Dark Spring/Spring Celebrations & Mythology. Dark Spring was a HUGELY popular prompt, which probably explains the increase.

Day 6, on the other hand, saw a 29% decrease in submissions between 2024 and 2025. In 2024 the Day 6 prompts were Dreams/Fairy Tale AU, and in 2025 they were Spy/Warband.

Tamlin Ships Submitted: 2024 vs. 2025

Now we're cooking! It's very interesting to see the changes in which Tamlin ships have become more or less popular in the past year. To better understand this graph, I've calculated the percent change in the number of submissions for each ship, depicted below. The ships that have a percent change above the 0 axis are ones that had an increase in the number of submissions about them, and the ones below the 0 axis had a decrease in the number of submissions about them. The further they are from the 0 axis, the more dramatic the change between the years.

I think the most exciting thing here is the dramatic increase in popularity of Tamlin/Eris, with a 160% increase since 2024! The difference was between 11 submissions this year and 3 submissions in 2024, but still a dramatic increase! Lucien isn't the only Vanserra that Tamlin got his claws into this year! The increase in both General Tamlin and Polycules makes sense, considering that one of our prompts was Platonics & Polycules this year. We love to see it though! Our boy deserves all the love he can get!

The decrease in most of the other ships from 2024 to 2025 really is interesting. The decrease in the "Other Ships" category also seems to indicate that there weren't as many wild Tamlin crackships this year as there were last year. What I read from this information is that more people were interested in creating non-shippy content for Tamlin this year than ever before, which again is super amazing! That's not something a lot of character weeks can say, especially in this fandom.

What's REALLY interesting is that the number of submissions for the three most popular Tamlin ships with a woman (Tamlin/Feyre, Tamlin/Briar, and Tamlin/Rhysand's Sister) had very dramatic decreases from 2024 to 2025, ranging from a 60% decrease for Tamlin/Rhysand's sister, to a whooping 87% decrease for Tamlin/Feyre. More on that later!

Types of Fanworks Submitted: 2024 vs. 2025

Once again, I've found that the most informative way to view the change in the types of fanworks submitted each year is through looking at the percent change. There was a 61% increase in fanart created this year, which is just astounding! Visual art is freaking HARD, and there was an incredible amount of it created for Tamlin Week this year! There was also a 61% decrease in poetry submitted for Tamlin Week in 2025, which is kind of a bummer. We still made up for it with plenty of other submissions!

Number of M/M vs. M/F Ships: 2024 vs. 2025

This is a new, possibly contentious analysis I did this year. I separated out ONLY the submissions that had Tamlin shipped with one other person, and counted what percentage of the total of those were male/male (M/M) ships, vs how many were male/female (M/F) ships. Essentially, are people shipping Tamlin more with men or women?

In 2024, there were roughly an equal number of M/M and M/F ships in the submissions. In 2025, we suddenly get more than twice the number of M/M ships as M/F ships, with a 35% increase in M/M ships and a 37% decrease in M/F ships. This fits with the data we saw above, where all the popular M/F ships in this fandom had a dramatic decrease in the number of submissions. This really is an amazing thing to see in a fandom so focused on heterosexuality and straight ships!

Every single person that participated in Tamlin Week is a hero to me. Most (if not all) of us have been harassed and called horrible names for liking Tamlin. Despite that, so many of you came together for this event, both by submitted creations, and by supporting each other. You are all the best!

Hey, Is this accurate?

The dirty secret about Invictus is that it's a military charity started by the UK's ministry of defence, which is why UK's Allies send their wounded military to participate, as the MoD of each country work together. It remains under the governance of the UK's MoD, and that's why UK and other countries conjure up the millions required to put up the games.For inexplicable reasons, Harold's faux military record is used as the perfect PR front for it.I suspect it's one of Cabinet office's great ideas whereby they know regular govt/ department funding will be questioned by parliament and subject to all kinds of prohibitive laws, but using the money for charity allows them to roll out all sorts of programmes under the guise of Invictus....same MO as USAID.

Before he tied himself to Markle, Harold once said that he would head up Invictus for afew years because it was going to be wound up.

Somewhere before or during Megxit, a decision was made to make Invictus independent of the Royal family's PR efforts to present it as a foundation in it's own right. MoD reorganised it and cut off or enfolded other dependant charities eg Help for Heroes and Endeavour Fund.

Perhaps as a result of being cut off from all his other posts, plus ELF being on the board of Trustees, Harold saw the advantage of staying with the new Invictus after all.

The day MoD decides to cut Harold off, it will be a unilaterally decision at MoD and having any mates on the board won't help him

We saw this in action with Help for Heroes whose board was filled with Harold cronies and yes men. Once MoD cut them off, nought Harold could do. And he is such a disloyal person that he didn't plead for them to be kept on by the MoD

Honestly, without being able to see the source myself to dig into the user history to determine their legitimacy or accuracy, I can’t tell. I can verify that some of this info is correct:

Invictus Games is backed by the Ministry of Defense and British government leadership.

Harry is the face of it. Both his PR and the Royal Foundation were used to launch the organization.

The Royal Foundation pulled their support after William booted the Sussexes and Invictus Games was spun off into its own charitable foundation at that point, predominantly backed by the military and the MOD more than the BRF.

I’m not sure about anything else and like I said, without knowing the source, there isn’t much I can do.

From where I sit, the dirty secret isn’t that the MOD is propping Invictus up, though, because that’s very well known and it really is only due to the alliances that there’s as much international participation as there is - but that’s not unique to IG. That’s typical of all war games; it's allies getting together and training together. The only thing different about IG from all the other war games allied countries do is that it also includes veterans, not just active duty military service members.

To me, the dirty secret is that the UK - whether it’s the MOD or ELF or the BRF or Harry, it doesn’t really matter - stole the concept from the US. It's literally a copypasta of the DOD's Warrior Games. The only tweak is that they made it international with multiple countries participating because the UK's military is far too small (specifically compared to the US's) to have that kind of diverse friendly competition. And they papered over the copypasta by blasting us with Hero Harry PR.

I don't know enough about the Help for Heroes organization to be able to comment on that piece, either. What I do know is that Help for Heroes got hit hard by COVID, they struggled to bounce back, and the Royal British Legion got the tap instead. Did they struggle because the MOD pulled their support? Was it because they didn't have Harry as patron or sponsor anymore? Was it the lack of a royal affiliation? I don't know and again, not knowing this source or being able to do my own fact-checking into this, it's not something I'd trust as accurate.

Lastly, I'm very skeptical that "as a result of being cut off from all his other posts, plus ELF being on the board of Trustees, Harry saw the advantage of staying with the new Invictus after all." That would imply Harry has a) a brain and b) smarts. Which we know he has neither because of the mess he's currently in: most of his money lost on lawsuits, a wife who's cheapened his reputation, ostracized by the UK, and cast out by his family.

Harry stuck with Invictus through all this time because they let him walk all over them. They let Harry use them as a personal PR tool. And not just Harry - Meghan too, despite the public criticism.

Which is also a flaw, or a hole in the LSA anon's report - if Invictus is truly backed and operated by the MOD, and they're using Harry or Harry's PR as a front...then why aren't they controlling the Sussex shenanigans? Because the more the Sussexes act out, the more the Games become about Meghan, the more people that walk away from Invictus, the more criticism there is. And the less people there are, the less cover there behind the scenes, so the MOD's involvement - especially to the extent that the anon posits - is bound to come out.

But that said, we all know that Harry is absolutely failing as the IG patron. I suspect the MOD fills in where he can't, and that's why all the host countries have been very close allies - US, Canada, Germany, the Hague. And I suspect that's why Birmingham ended up getting the 2027 bid; IG had to fall back on their government/MOD connections and optics for that much government intervention usually goes down better when it's on home soil.

Either way, we'll find out. Invictus really doesn't have much longer - the Games always run way over budget, which doesn't bode well for international partnerships. Then factor in that Birmingham too is having their own financial problems and it's really looking like Birmingham 2027 is probably the end of Invictus Games, unless there's a huge injection of new attention, new donors, and fresh PR, and what better, easier way to get all that than from the patron's successful reconciliation with his father, The King?

I mean, it's either that or the MOD fully takes over and absorbs Invictus into their apparatus as DOD has Warrior Games.

I don't mean to be totally pessimistic about it, but...just something to think about. Why else would Charles or BP be talking about Birmingham 2027? It's two years away.

Five years working in real estate, and this was the first time this had ever happened to Lori. Some FAQs for the event!

Some of you might be wondering how it all works - so here is a helpful little guide that should answer any questions burning away in your mind. Don't see you question? Send an ask!

“Is CherriBang specifically for fics about Cherri Bomb?”

Nope! The name is just a play on the character name and the phrase 'big bang', to make it a bit more Helluva/Hazbin related. Fics can be about everyone!

“On that, since 'Bang' is in the name, are all fics explicit?”

Nope! The fics being written have a range of ratings, from gen to explicit – but for the explicit fics, that isn't the main purpose of them (so no complete porn without plots) – artists who pick a NSFW piece will have other scenes to choose from, and indeed if you pick a NSFW piece you will be encouraged to either do a tumblr-safe version of your art, or two pieces – one that is safe for Tumblr and one that... might not be ;)

“Is there an application process? How will I know if I got in?”

That's the neat part – EVERYONE GETS IN! There is no application process or anything to follow – if you can art, you're in the event!

“What characters are the fics about?”

There is an entire, huge range. There are over 40 works being written, some featuring the Vees, some featuring Alastor, Lucifer, Vox, Rosie, Vaggie, Angel, Blitz, Charlie... it would be impossible to list them all. Keep your eyes on the Bsky page for tiny peeks!

“Is this an event for ships/will there be ships?”

There are ships, yes – but there is also a wide range of non-shippy/gen content. Some of the ships that might catch your interest are RadioApple, RadioStatic, PolyVees, RadioRose, Lucilith, Chaggie, RadioDust, HuskerDust, Stolitz, Blitz/Fizzy – and so many more!

If shipping isn't your thing, we have found family, misadventures, QPRs – so many things you could think of!

“Is it all canon characters?”

For this, yes – OCs do not play a heavy part in any fic. However, there are AUs, so there are still lots of varied interpretations of the characters!

“What is the word limit?”

The minimum word limit for fics is 7k. There is no maximum! Some writers are cooking up absolute novels of content!

“Where can I read the entries?”

All entries will be posted on August third, on AO3. The art made for the fic will be linked within the fic, as well as posted on that artists individual social media.

“Is it too late to sign up?”

As a writer, yes – but artist signups are opening May 1st! And for writers, there will be the inverse of this event happening later in the year, where artists sign up first and writers sign up afterwards to write a fic for their chosen art piece!

“How will artists be assigned to writers?”

As an artist, you will have access to reading a synopsis, relevant tags, and an excerpt from each fic. You won't know who wrote it yet – you will be asked to fill in a google form numbering the fics you want to work on in order of preference, from 1-5 – with 1 being your most preferred, 2 being your second most... you know how numbers work. We will endeavour to give everyone one of their top three preferences, with a little bit of decision making only if multiple people have the same top preferences!

“Can artists draw whatever they want?”

The spirit of the event is collaboration – so making art based on something in your writers fic. Whether that's a scene, a comic – multiple spot art pieces if you feel so inspired (and have incredible time management skills). So long as you make at least one fully rendered piece, you can go wild with any extras you feel like.

“Is anything forbidden?”

Creators have been given creative freedom to make what they want, but for fics with darker themes, all appropriate trigger warnings and tags are noted in the fic synopsis.

“What happens if I need to drop out?”

If you're an artist, please reach out to a mod and let them know. We understand life happens, but we really don't want to experience radiosilence on it – you don't have to tell us details, just a quick “I won't be able to complete my piece because of work/family/etc” will be fine. Your writer will be assigned a pinch hitter if you were their only artist!

If you're an artist and your writer drops out, you will be given the chance to pick a different fic to work on, and you will be given additional time to do so. We hope this won't happen as authors have been working on their fics in the lead up!

“How often do I need to check in with mods?”

There are five check ins after artists join – May 30, to confirm you've spoken to your partner, June 13, to confirm you've got sketch/lines done, June 27 to provide an update, July 18 to provide further update, August 1 to confirm everything is ready to go for posting August 3!

“Who can I ask if I have more questions?”

We have several helpful mods. @dizzlypuzzled, who is the creator of this event – as well as @flywolf33, @phoenix-arising, @bonetrix-arts, and @mothballmilkshake. You can reach out to any of them on bsky or tumblr, or the event page on tumblr as well!

“What do I do if my writer/artist isn't communicating with me?”

Reach out to a mod, and we'll step in. If needed, above steps about dropping out may be taken, but we hope it doesn't come to that!

“I'm a writer and I don't like the approach my artist is taking. Can I switch artists?”

This is a collaborative event, and we encourage everyone to discuss with their partner what they want from the fic/art they are working on. If for any reason you find it impossible to come to an agreement, please reach out to a mod as soon as possible as we will discuss shuffling/pinch hitter availability.

“I'm an artist and I don't like the direction the story I chose is going/I think the synopsis was misleading. Can I change writers?”

If you get matched with your writer after choosing from the synopsis/snippet and find out the story is going in a direction that makes you uncomfortable, please reach out to the mods as soon as possible. If it is early enough, we may be able to shuffle a few people around until we find a better fit. All writers are encouraged to be as up front as possible about the direction of their fic, ships, etc, so we hope this won't happen – but understand if something unexpected comes up.

Mods are created

Just wanted to say something, as I see so many posts about giving kudos and credit to creatives - Mods are art. Mods do not just happen. Mods take time and effort and creativity. People create them. They spend hours, days, weeks, months making them. Very few non-modders treat them as such, mods are treated as a thing to be used and taken with no thought to the work behind them or the person who made them. I've witnessed modders get abuse for not changing their own creative works to fit someone else's exact preferences. They get told to 'just do x' as if it's all so easy, and you just click a button and everything becomes the way you want it, and not hours and hours of more work, after you've already dedicated so much to it, poured your heart and soul into it. Editing a mod without asking is the same as photoshopping someone's artwork. Some authors may be fine with it, some will not be. Never assume it's okay, the same as you wouldn't assume it was fine to photoshop someone's art to slap in your OC over theirs. Someone spent time, energy, and love to make that mod the way it is. Maybe they learned about coding, about sculpting, about texture making - skills and effort to make the thing the way they envisioned.

If you use a mod, give credit to the author at least once or twice if it inspired your art or helped you produce an amazing screenshot, or just let you enjoy the game a little more. If you don't remember their name you can look in the BG3 Mod Manager, author names are right there, or go on Nexus and look at your download history, or search up the mod name on Mod.io and look for it, find their name, share it, share a link. While you're there, you could post a comment saying you like it, maybe even share a screenshot on their Nexus page. Show some appreciation for the effort and time they've put in. It means the absolute world to them, same as any other creative endeavour.
